This week we celebrate the 1st anniversary of Plinius auctions. Being currently based in London UK this week's auction is dedicated to British minerals. There are 22 specimens, classics and more sought after, coming from different collections, such as Jolyon Ralph (UK), Ian Acworth (UK) and Bruno Cerato (Italy).
Some highlights include:
- superb liroconite from Wheal Gorland
- choice bournonite from Herodsfood Mine
- elegant witherite miniature from Fallowfield Mine
- excellent blue fluorite from Florence Mine
- rich tennantite from Wheal Jewel (ex Philadelphia's Academy of Natural Sciences, USA)
