0.01 × 0.06 × 0.04 cm
Largest Crystal:

A unique species with a weird composition (barium titanium vanadium arsenite), bianchiniite (IMA 2019-022) owes its existence to peculiar geochemical conditions in a single vein of the prolific Sant'Olga tunnel where usually derbylite-group minerals are found. Bianchiniite forms nice translucent, caramel brown, tabular crystals as well shown in this little cluster. No matrix specimens were retrieved save the holotype.

This is one of the last opportunities to acquire this extremely rare natural phase. Loose crystal group, mounted on adhesive paper, easy to remove with a drop of solvent if needed. Of course author's material, analytically verified.
