Description

Here we see a fine specimen of well developed, sharp and almost gemmy reticulated Cerussite from the famous Tsumeb Mine of Namibia. Reticulated Cerussite crystals from Tsumeb are always high on most collector's lists. The gemminess and adamantine luster are excellent, and the form (reticulated growth due to cyclic twinning) is simply superb. Often referred to as snowflake Cerussites, the aesthetics and quality of this miniature are outstanding. For a full miniature, with perfect form and symmetry and all other qualities you would wish, this stands out. Only minor imperfections. Probably collected in the 1960s or early 1970s.
