Description

A fine thumbnail plate exeedingly rich covered with quadrangular blades of rare uranium-phosphate Saléeite. The crystals are excellent developed, sharp edged and lustrous. They are olive green and lucent to transparent as well.  The Christa uranium mine at Großschloppen was under construction from 1980-1988. The area is now landscaped and the dumps are completely removed. Consequently such great items are history and exceeding hard to come by.
