Description

This is a fine cluster of large, well developed crystals of Almandine garnet from the famous location in the Ötztal, probably Granatkogel. The crystals are sharp and lustrous and almost intact despite some usual contacts with other crystals. They are showing the typical dark reddish-brown colour and they are set on the well known shist amtrix. This specimen is way better than the well known usual bulk.
