Description

Unbelievable 470 grams of pure, partially crystallized native Silver from Kongsberg. This first sentence actually says everything. This is a wonderful association of prints of probably dissolved Fluorite or Calcite associated with relatively large and slightly indistinct but sturdy crystals of native Silver. In some indentations are are clearly visible "survivors" of Fluorite.  This is a sculptural and also very aesthetic old-timed native Silver specimen fromthe famous Kongsberg, the major locality of this species in the world. And this fine specimen  displaying complex intergrowths of crystalline silver exhibiting crude cube and cubo-octahedral forms. It is unquestionably among the best of this style and the only one I have seen since decades,- especially in this size. The reserve bid we set is our purchasing price. I know, it is a lot of money, but anyway a bargain.
