You are bidding on a superb thumbnail specimen with several almost well developed crystals (for the species). Tetradymite is an uncommon bismuth, tellurium sulfosalt and this fine specimen is richly covered with bright, tin-white- to brass, small crystals on quartz matrix. This is classic, old-time material from the historic Red Cloud Mine, Gold Hill Colorado. Such fine and rare material is hard to come by nowadays.
