Description

You are bidding on a fine mini, featuring several diamond shiny hexagonal blades of Chalcophyllite from Wheal Gorland in Cornwall. They are excellent defined, sharp and well mostly well terminated. Cornwall is the classic locality for this species, though specimens are rarely seen today. Here we have a rich specimen with great intense deep mint green colour, and small pockets of pristine crystals running through it. It was almost certainly found in the mid to late 1800s
