You are bidding on a fine specimen of well developed and highly lustrous, sharp Olivenite crystals. A fine, classic and old-time specimen from the Wheal Gorland of Cornwall. A "sod" of very sparkly, dark forest-green olivenite microcrystals is surrounded and "protected" by fibrous sprays of lighter green Olivenite crystals on a quartz-rich matrix. Primary production at Wheal Gorland was over by 1851. This is cool sample of this copper-arsenate.
