Description

Usually, if you have a specimen with any species "accompanied by" Argentopyrite, you see just this kind of mineral with some tiny crystals of Argentopyrite between. But not in this case. This superb specimen features excellent defined, large, six-sided crystals of rare silver- sulfosalt Argentopyrite associated with deep red and mirror bright Pyrargyrite from the famous Sauberg Mine in Ehrenfriedersdorf. The Argentopyrite is highly metallic lustrous and its surface has a golden-tombac colour with a fine iridesence. This is  a really super specimen and exceeding hard to get nowadays especially in that quality.
