Description

Crusty, cauliflower-like Connellite form the well known, classic Cornish locale. The intensive bright blue coloured Connellite is richly covering the typical matrix. Wheal Gorland´s first recorded working was in 1792. From 1852-1909 the mine was only operated sporadically. The last attempt of mining was in 1976 when the main specimen producing dump was removed to extract the tin ore.
