Description

Lorenzenite is a rare sodium titanium silicate found in pegmatites and nepheline syenites. A lustrous, sharp, 2,7 cm, doubly terminated, chocolate-brown lorenzenite is nicely set in matrix on this excellent specimen . There is just a bit of contacting on the prism faces, but they are all there. Highly representative of this rare species and locality.
