Description

This superfine and classic specimen features a bunch of multifaced and highly metallic lustrous tabular bournonite accompanied by numerous of also highly lustrous and sharp galena. Both species are excellent developed and perched on glistening tiny blades of siderite which are covering the whole specimen. A very good specimen in splendid condition. Considering the overall impression of the specimen, the minor imperfections are even not worth to be reported.

The Georg Mine was firstly mentioned in 1338 and was abandoned in March 1965. It was together with the Füsseberg Mine the last Siegerland mine in operation.
