Description

This specimen features a olive green, glistening surface. The reason are numerous of highly lustrous crystals of olivenite covering the matrix. The single crystals are well developed-multifaced, sharp edged and transparent. The colour is typically an intense olive green. A super specimen from the well known, classic French locale.

The in 1917 abandoned Cap Garonne deposit is currently the most prolific French locality for new species.
