Description

More than 10 years ago at the Munich Show, my friend Rene Triebl from Austria offered the last time such a super class specimen from Turt. Since those days, this specimen was the first I saw. This highly aesthetic piece features a cast of caramel-brown, crystallized Siderite, replacing rhombohedral Dolomite up to 5,2 cm (in diameter). So all the crystals are hollow inside. This kind of replacement is called paramorphose. The whole surface of all of this well developed crystals is glistening by the sharp Siderite crystals. The center  and most of the edges are absolutely perfect. There are only two places, where you can see the holes, what gives this outstanding specimen a scientific dramatic.
