Description

A good and typical old-timed specimen from the abandoned strontianite mine "Bertha" 17 km SSW of Münster. The specimen looks alittle bit like a cauli-flower. About 140 years ago they used strontianite to produce sugar. After discovering a new procedure most of the strontiantie mines have been closed sooner or later.
