Description

Rich, white, partly transparent prismatic calcite crystals up to 1.5 cm tall on matrix, terminated with very low rhombohedra and basal faces from the classic locality St. Andreasberg in Harz Mountains in Germany. A typical calcite habit from the locality, the piece is an old, historic one, accompanied by an old German, hand-written label. A really nice piece for any collector of worldwide calcites and/or old German classics.
