Description

A very interesting calcite specimen, with two generations of calcite, one in form of white, lustrous combinations of rhombohedra and prism faces up to 3.3 cm across, growing on older scalenohedral crystals from the classic locality St. Andreasberg in Harz Mountains, Germany. The crystals are sharp and show no visible damage, a really wonderful piece for any calcite collector and/or collector of old European classics.
