Lavendulan Cornwallite Conichalcite & Azurite

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
La Reconquistada Claim, Pastrana, Mazarrón, Murcia, Spain
Size Range:
Small miniature (3-4.5 cm)
Size:
3.1 × 1.5 × 1.5 cm
Description

A virtual micro wonderland of four species in one specimen!

Beautiful tiny electric blue bladed lavendulan microcrystals in balls with blebs of azurite are formed on one side of the matrix.

In another corner on a base of bright green botryoidal conichalcite, lie small highly lustrous balls of lighter bright green cornwallite.

From a unique and one time Spanish find. Probably the best crystallised lavendulan in the world comes from this small prospect in Spain which was discovered about eight years ago.
