Description

A sharp rhomb of rhodochrosite pierced by an aegerine crystal, is accompanied by a rosette of uncommon polylithionite crystals at the base. A classic Mont Saint Hilaire assemblage.

The chemical content of polylithionite is potassium lithium aluminum silicate fluoride and is named from the Greek for having much lithium. It is a not a very well known mica mineral.
