Description

A small vial of uranium minerals from the Hillside Mine.   This specimen features small fragments of yellow fibrous Bayleyite, minute pseudocubic crystals of Andersonite, and cream colored crystals of Schrockingerite.   In the first photo you can see Bayleyite on Schrockingerite.   The second photo is a cluster of Andersonite.   The third photo shows Schrockingerite, and the fourth shows Bayleyite.   The Hillside Mine is the type locality for all three species.    This is old material from the collection of A.L. Flagg (1892 - 1961).
