Description

This is a single crystal of Fluorite. It comes from the famouse "Silbermühlen Flache" vien . Shaft Uranus near Annaberg Buchholz / Saxony.

The crystal was destroyed by hydrothermal water. A part of the crystal was later recrystallized . This crystal have the typical Deltaisokositetraeder structure. The recrystallized part is clear as water.

The colour in the middle of the crystal is yellow. The edge is pale violet.

The Fluorite is not nice but very interesting.
