Description

The specimen is sliced and polished to be seen its trapiche pattern. Little difference is that the pattern consists two different rim, outer with 6 extended lines and 3 at inner rim. The very first occurrence of trapiche tourmaline analysed as Uvite was taken place in northwestern of Zambia in late 2005. The skeletal growth pattern was formed by carbonaceous substance. The bedrock at the Kavungu mine consisted of an impure and distinctly banded marble that has been selectively weathered into a typical karst landform. However most of trapiche tourmaline specimens were only found in these residual laterite
