Very interesting specimen of this rare mineral schuetteite that is only found in a few places in the world, the mineral is very rare because it is a hydrated sulphate of mercury that has a secondary formation deposited in the adjacent rocks to the reef. Here in Spain it was in the Las Cuevas cinnabar mine in Almaden but now it is impossible to find more specimens because the mine is closed and restored.
