Description

Very nice colorless and turquoise blue, translucent salammoniac and lecontite specimen. Salammoniac is a rare ammonium chloride, without water. It is generally found as colorless or white crystals. The intense blue color is rare and is thought to be caused by copper inclusions. Note that these specimens are apparently a man-made/post-mining lake product, and somehow they can be considered anthropomorphic.

The stability of these salts depends a lot on the microclimate of each locality, so I strongly advise keeping the specimen at least in a methacrylate urn.
