Very interesting group of pseudo-hexagonal crystals of magnesite variety Pistomesite, today Pistomesite is an obsolete name and is only used locally. These magnesite crystals are included in a matrix formed by micro-crystals of magnesite mixed with white gypsum with a granular texture. The main crystal is fractured and welded naturally as you can see in the photos, this is due to the plasticity of the gypsum and the movements of the dome.
