Description

Agrellite is a rare columnar silicate and this famous alkaline complex is the Type Locality. This piece is a pearlescent columnar agrellite mass with minor eudialite and calcite, possibly others minerlas accompaning.

Specimens from this locality are popular with fluorescent collectors, because agrellite specimens from this locality fluoresce a strong pink color under shortwave ultraviolet light and also under longwave as you can see in pictures.
