Description

Transparent and gemmy honey-colored elongated prismatic crystals of celestine tapered to acute terminations on a matrix rich in native sulfur. Several of the crystals are double-terminated and the longest measures 2.0 cm.

The piece is not perfect, having some broken crystals, but its esthetics are very good.

The specimen was acquired as baryte, but has been subsequently updated to celestine per regional experts on Mindat.
