Description

Bravoite is the nikkeloan variety of pyrite. Its chemical formula therefore is (Fe,Ni)S2. The Maubacher Bleiberg became famous for these specimens and although small, this specimen is very good for the species and locality. The Bravoites are embedded in a solid chalcopyrite matrix. From an old collection.
