             My last Babingtonite specimen from Antarctica for sale

 

Black babingtonite crystals lining a vug in quartz matrix.

Nice combination specimen with clear pale green prehnite crystals, clear quartz and black babingtonite.

This specimen was found during the first german antarctica expedition GANOVEX I 1979 / 80

Rare locality.

Comes with a - copy- of the handwritten label from the mineralogist of this expedition.
