Description

Waterclear twinned and single quartz crystals and a perfect sharp lustrous black babingtonite crystal.

Although there is a tiny bruise on the tip of the twin, still an awesome thumbnail specimen of excellent composition from a rare locality.

The specimen was found during the first german antarctica expedition GANOVEX I 1979 / 80. 

Comes with a - copy- of the handwritten label from the mineralogist of this expedition
