Very good crystals of yellow chernikovite intergrown with yellow-green meta-autunite and minor green-yellow meta-ankoleit on quartz crystals.

Analyzed.

From the historic collection of the mining director Ernst Julius Fröbe ( 1851 - 1921) from Schwarzenberg, Saxony.

The material was collected by E. Fröbe and K. Schiffner 1905 - 1910 . The Rockelmann quarry was defunct in1930. Karl Schiffner published this finds in 1911 and they were stored with the name "Kalkuranit" in the collection of E. Fröbe.

This part of the collection was discoverd in 2014 and the whole material was newly investigated and analyzed.

These are the best and richest specimens known for this rare mineral.

Please take note of the article about the discovery of the Fröbe collection in LAPIS 11 / 2016.

One of my best specimen from this historic collection.
