Description

Yellow plates of abhurite in a nodule of tin. 

Abhurite is formed only by the reaction of sea water and pure tin.

Abhurite occurs only in a few old shipwrecks worldwide.

This specimen was found in July 1885, eighteen miles from St. Ives in the wreck of the "SS Cherful".
