Description

Clear quartz crystals to 1.5 cm.On the quartz are sitting many black,perfect babingtonite crystals.Also light green prehnite is present.The specimen was found during the first german antarctica Expedition GANOVEX I 1979/80.Comes with the original handwritten label of the mineralogist from this expedition.Babingtonite from this location is probably lacking in most collections.
