Description

This group of 2 amethyst scepters is from Little Giant Basin. These crystals are found in the quartz filled ring faults there associated with the Silverton Caldera. Groups are rather uncommon from this locality because most crystals are found in clay filled pockets and broken up by the freeze/thaw cycle which has contributed to minor chipping on this specimen. These crystals have an "alligator skin" surface.
