Description

 This pseudomorph is from the San Juan Mountains, a region known for having produced extraordinary quartz encrustations. This specimen Consistd of bright white quartz encrusting anhydrie crystals that were then dissolced in situ, leaving a cast.  Such pieces are becoming increasingly rare from this region.
