On a bright yellow bed of sparkling crystalline rare françoisite-(Nd), lie several crystals rosettes of shabaite-(Nd), an extremely rare mineral find only in  its type locality. The rosettes of tabular crystals with micaceous luster scattered on the sample are well visible with naked eyes. Kamoto is the type locality of both the species. Outstanding small miniature!

A comment:

Checking on the e-Rocks DB, of the total of all 20 shabaite-(Nd) samples that have passed on the e-Rocks auctions in total, 10 have passed through NewBrandMinerals and I can say that it is an exceptional sample, the best and richest I have had to date, it surpasses all my previous specimens!!

I think it's the definitive sample for an expert and determined collector.

Note:One side is sawn.
