Description

According to the authors' description, derriksite is the rarest of the uranyl-selenites found in Musonoi. In this specimen, many sharp, shiny, dark green crystals lined the surface of two cavities in the matrix. An excellent and rather rich sample of this rare mineral found in only two locations in the world. The pale yellow prismatic crystals are baryte.
