The latest new from this old Tuscan mine, from a small find of last year, is this exceptional group of shiny black, voltaite crystals of incredible size, probably the largest crystals for this sulfate ever found worldwide, measuring 2.0 cm. Outstanding!!

Silky-white is halotrichite.
