Description

"Derriksite is the rarest of the uranyl-selenites found in Musonoi" so the authors (P.D.Ginderow & F.Cesborn, Acta Cryst.1983) begin the description of the structure of this rare mineral found only in two locations in the world (the second location is Zalesii, Czech Rep.) In this magnificent specimen, a large quantity of fine sharp and shiny, dark green crystals scattered in several points of the sample are clearly visible. Truly an excellent and rich sample of this rare mineral.
