Description

A multitude of  nice, sharp, crystals of clinoferrosilite with small crystals of amethyst, all stay on a bed of colorless-milky sanidine crystals. Clinoferrosilite is a clinopyroxene dimorph of ferrosilite and isostructural with clinoenstatite. The analytical results confirm that all the crystals, from green-bottle to dark green-black color and even brown to reddish, they are all clinoferrosilite. Clinoferrosilite rarely is been found in single euhedral crystals. Nice specimen.
