Description

Five small crystalline fragments from an old sample, from the Vesuvius 1895 eruption. The original sample only recently analyzed, provided very few specimens in which rare heklaite colorless crystals and khademite vitreous crystals were identified. The largest fragment (A, third photo) measures approximately 7 x 5 mm. The smallest (first photo, two fragments C + E) approximately 2 x 2 mm. Speciments from Vesuvius are extremely rare.
