Description

In this sample you can find the giacovazzoite as more groups of shiny crystals with its classic prismatic shape and its warm orange color. Rich specimen! Analyzed. 

Giacovazzoite, IMA 2018-165. It is a new oxysulfate, the second currently known K-Fe oxysulfate, the other is another new specie found together, scordariite. This new species has been found in Monte Arsiccio mine, world famous, for the magnificent and rare species that have been found here in recent decades.
