Description

Magnanellite IMA 2019-006.  It's the Fe3+ analogue of alcaparrosaite, a new specie found  in the Monte Arsiccio mine, world famous, for the magnificent and rare species that has been found here in recent decades. In this sample you can find the magnanelliite as shiny, bright-yellow, prismatic, sharp, pointed individual crystals, and as wonderful divergent groups. A wonderful, very attractive mineral species.

Magnanelliite is in honor of the outstanding minerals-collector S.Magnanelli, protagonist of exceptional finds at the M. Arsiccio mine and more other areas of Tuscany.
