Description

Giacovazzoite, IMA 2018-165. It is a new oxysulfate, the second currently known K-Fe oxysulfate, the other is another new specie found together, scordariite, ( you can find it in my same auction). This new species has been found in Monte Arsiccio mine, world famous, for the magnificent and rare species that have been found here in recent decades. 
In this sample you can find the giacovazzoite as groups of warm orange color crystals with its classic prismatic shape, spread here and there on the matrix. Author's material. Analyzed.
