Description

Many rounded groups of tabular crystals of manandonite, cover almost entirely a quartz matrix, here and there are nested some gray, prismatic crystals of hydrokenopyrochlore. Manandonite is a not very common mineral of the Kaolinite-Serpentine Group, found only in three locations worldwide, all in Madagascar. Hhydrokenopyrochlore is exclusive of this locality that is for both the species the their type-locality.
