Description

Beautiful, pale gray, prismatic sharp crystals of hydrokenopyrochlore and small very nice pink elbaite crystals. In the sample there are nested, more, nice pale gray prismatic crystals of hydrokenopyrochlore in more areas of the matrix.

The specimen comes from a small batch of few samples XRD analyzed.

Very rich and good quality sample for this rare specie!

Hydrokenopyrochlore is a new member (IMA 2017-005) of Pyrochlore Group> Pyrochlore Supergroup, known only in the type locality: Antandrokomby, Madagascar.
