Description

A wonderful rich specimen of gysinite-(Nd) with a lot of pale pink crystals of this very rare neodymium mineral scattered over at least four areas of the sample. The crystals are glassy, very sharp, well formed and the "bigger" crystal, size 0.5 mm, as no more usually we can find. Gysinite-(Nd) is exclusive of two or three locality in the world but now seldom comes almost exclusively from this old abandoned mine in the Sardinian inland. On the sample there are some twins groups of cerussite crystals on chrysocolla. Specimen personally collected in 2001. Extremely rare, especially so rich!
