Description

A very good sample with many well-formed orange crystals that have emerged after a light etching with acid. This rare mineral of the tsumcorite group has been found in only three locations in the world but the only one that has produced samples with appreciable crystals is Falotta which is its type locality. This specimen arrives with the adhesive label of Franco Vanini, veteran of mineralogical research and a great expert in the mineralogy of this locality that is also the type locality of the mineral vaniniite that he found here and which was recently dedicated to him.
