Description

The greaserite is an extremely rare mineral found in a small number of locality in the world. In the few other known locality, the crystals are found in metal needles and only rarely in prisms, as in this case. This sample has more crystals of which, some sharp and squared faces, free from the carbonate matrix, are visible with black-metallic color. Not many samples come from this locality.
